NEW! FMWB Ukrainian Support Fund

This non-endowed fund has been created in collaboration with the Fort McMurray Ukrainian Cultural Society (FMUCS) and WBCF along with other local partner agencies.

All funds raised directly support Ukrainian evacuees who are making their new home here in Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo.

Each of their needs are unique but most will need assistance with hotels and housing; childcare; jobs and career placements; education and training; English lessons; clothing and food needs; etc.

WBCF and FMUCS are working closely with local organizations to coordinate clear needs assessments and ensure that each family is supported with few to no gaps.

We are not accepting donations of clothing or other goods at this time. Please donate these to the local donation centres such as Salvation Army.

All monetary donations and contributions are welcome! If you wish to save the processing fees, you can also donate by cheque or etransfer to donations@wbcfoundation.ca.
